TSA Champions

Do you know a former Atkins student who was a champion (state champion or higher)?

Then you can nominate them for the Atkins Letterman Hall of Fame. Unlike most schools, who have a hall of fame just for athletes, in the vision of former principal Joe Childers Atkins has a Letterman Hall of Fame that honors competitors of all its lettering areas (Academics, Athletics, Fine Arts, and JROTC). The schoolwide annual awards banquet for these areas is May 14, and more information is forthcoming about tickets, etc.

You can review the criteria for the Letterman Hall of Fame HERE. Former students must be at least a college senior or older to be eligible, and they must have been an individual state champion on one of our lettering teams, or a member of a state champion team. Athletes can also qualify if they are All-State, and JROTC national or major scholarships can qualify.

The nomination is linked on the pages above, or HERE.

Nominations will be open through midnight on Sunday, April 13, and inductees will be notified by the end of that week. Their inductions are a part of the Letterman Celebration to be held May 14.
