Congratulations to Jordan Samuels (champion) and Evelyn Wakeford, the winners of this year's Poet Laureate competition. The contest had a great turnout and all the poems were well crafted and unique. These two poems stood out, though, and these two students will advance to the District-level competition to be held April 10 at the Education building.
