The Atkins Black Collective held its first ever Career Expo on Wednesday, February 26, featuring a variety of opportunities for students to check out and learn information important for their futures. Representatives attended from local universities, financial institutions, and also employers.
According to faculty sponsor Tyriq Evans, this event and its organization was "due to our excellent student leadership." In addition to this event, the group has done a great job with educating the Atkins community with daily facts during announcements during Black History Month.
