Atkins HS seniors are encouraged to prepare for the ACT WorkKeys assessment scheduled to take place at 8:30 in the morning this Thursday, November 12, 2024. All other students will report to second period at 8:55.
Unlike usual evaluations of one’s ability to solve math problems or read and write, WorkKeys assesses one’s fitness for employment through applied reading and mathematics. Atkins seniors are required to take this assessment to demonstrate career or college readiness, and a Level Four on a scale of three to seven is the expected score for WSFCS graduates. The assessment is split into three segments, and scoring at least a Level Three on all three assessments is necessary to pass. The WorkKeys is crucial for possible future career choices. So seniors, be ready for the WorkKeys assessment this Thursday!
