Ben Armentrout

Alicia Clement

Former valedictorian and Track Champion Ben Armentrout was inducted this year into the Atkins Letterman Hall of Fame in the category of Athletics. Here is the induction speech given by his coach Alicia Clement and a video of his prerecorded acceptance speech:

When I think of a Hall of Fame candidate, I examine the qualities they possess. This person has to have grit, character, and leadership qualities.  They motivate people to do their best. All of these qualities match the attributes of this year's Hall of Fame candidate. "A Jack of all trades and a master of none" does NOT apply to this young man! He mastered being a top orchestra player, club participate,  4-year quiz bowl and academic team member, TSA champion, 2019 Friday Night Lights Cross Country Champion,  2020 State Champion in the Indoor 3200m run, and the 2020 Atkins Valedictorian. The ultimate example of a student-athlete!

It is an honor and privilege to present to you the Atkins 2024 Hall of Fame inductee,

BENARMENTROUT!
