NED Shows Inspire WES Students with Powerful Message
April 15, 2025 – Walkertown Elementary School
On April 15, students in grades K-2 at Walkertown Elementary School were treated to a high-energy, inspiring performance from the NED Shows team. NED, which stands for Never Give Up, Encourage Others, and Do Your Best, brought their message of positivity and perseverance straight to the school gym—turning it into a place of learning, laughter, and life lessons.
For the past 32 years, the NED program has been traveling across the country, visiting schools and spreading a simple but powerful message: show kindness, try your hardest, and develop a mindset that’s always ready to learn and grow. At WES, the students were all ears as they discovered the power of the word YET—reminding them that just because they can’t do something yet doesn’t mean they never will.
The show was filled with storytelling, fun visuals, and interactive moments that had students cheering, clapping, and even thinking deeply. Along with learning the importance of encouraging others and not giving up, they were also reminded that a positive mindset can help them face any challenge.
WES staff and teachers praised the event for its uplifting energy and meaningful message. One teacher shared, “It’s so important for our young learners to hear that mistakes are part of the process, and NED brings that to life in such a fun and relatable way.”
Thanks to the NED Show, students left the gym feeling empowered—ready to grow, support one another, and be their very best every day.
