Since 2002, Dancing Drum has conducted interactive drumming programs at schools, museums, performing arts centers, conventions, festivals, and team-building events from California to the East Coast and internationally.
This is the 2nd year that Dancing Drum has had a program at Ward. In 2022, the program was Drumming Up Character. This year we celebrated Drumming Up World Music.
Students learned rhythms from West Africa, the Carribean, and South America.
During the evening, families were invited to attend and participate in this event. Everyone can learn how to play together through listening, cooperation, respecting, and working together as a team.
