students in 4th grade show off donations to help the humane society

Fourth graders in Mrs. Tilley and Mrs. Petree’s classes put their math skills to the test with a real-world project! Using decimal operations, students calculated the cost of supplies for an animal shelter (including sales tax) while staying within a $1000 budget. But they didn’t stop there—they also brought in donations to help the animals at the Forsyth Humane Society. This project was a great way to practice math while making a difference for pets in nee4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projects4th graders share math projectsd!
