Science Fair (text features fun things like the S as a plug, a C as a magnet, I as a test tube, E as a microscope, N as rulers, C as a magnifying glass, and E as an atom)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The STEAM team is thrilled to be working with Mrs. Hopgood and Dr. Cavalcanti on this year's science fair unit! We have exciting activities planned for all grade levels, and we need your support to make it a success.

Here's a breakdown by grade:

K-2: Our youngest scientists will be working on a class project together that will be presented at the school science fair.

3-5: These students will participate in a science fair simulation to get them inspired! The goal is to encourage them to complete their own projects, either individually or in groups, for the main science fair.

How You Can Help:

We'd love for more adult volunteers to join us during the weeks of November 4th and November 12th as we conduct experiments and test engineering designs in STEAM class. Your presence will be invaluable in supporting the students and ensuring a fun and successful learning experience.

We're looking forward to a fantastic science fair experience for all our STEAM students! Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

The Southwest Elementary PTA
