Updates from Tuesday:
It was a barnyard takeover at the school today seeing all of the students who came dressed as farm animals! While we corralled all of the students today, you all were busy corallin the cash! I am thrilled to share that we have officially passed the $20,000 halfway mark and are now at $26,132 in donations and 43% in school-wide participation! Don’t forget the class within each grade level with the highest participation percentage OR the class that reaches 100% first gets to visit the SW Farm Petting Party! Yes, a farm animal petting zoo will be coming to Southwest! Get those donations in for your student- each dollar counts and each student counts!
We have an important update about the Rodeo Roundup Fun Run happening on Friday. Due to the high chance of rain in the forecast, we will be having to move the Roundup indoors. Due to this, we will have to have a change, there will be limited space available for extra visitors. Therefore, attendance & participation for parents will be limited to Rodeo Roundup Volunteers ONLY! If you’d like to volunteer, please sign up on the sign up genius link on the SW PTA website and/or Facebook page. We kindly ask that children who do not attend SW stay at home.
Tomorrow we are saddlin’ up and giving a big ‘ol YEEE-HAAAW as we welcome all of the cowboys and cowgirls to WWSW for Western Wednesday!
Lastly, please check your email for the WWSW Newsletters as there is important information and updates about the WWSW Fundraiser, including a local business sponsor challenge!
Y’all be good now!
