Transcripts - Current Students

Below are several options for requesting your transcript.   These are some of the more common ways to make a request.  The list is not exhaustive – you may use or come across other ways to electronically request your transcript.

Important Note:  Please remember once transcripts are submitted, colleges and universities have their own timeline for intake and processing.  You may still receive automated notifications from the school indicating your transcript has not been received – even after it has been sent.  If you have questions about if or when your transcript will be marked as received, we encourage you to contact the school’s admission office directly.

Common App – If you are using Common App to apply to any schools, please enter your counselor’s contact information and they will receive a request to submit your transcript electronically.  Unsure if a school uses the Common App – click here to conduct a search.

College Foundation of NC (CFNC) -  RJR participates in  CFNC’s statewide electronic high school transcript systems.  This means you can request your transcript when you submit an online application or when you are on their Application Hub.  Students should go to the “Transcript Manager” button and follow the instructions. Students should check Transcript Manager after 48 hours to make sure the status says “Complete” (not Failed or Pending). This request is transmitted automatically through CFNC.  All NC colleges and universities, public and private, participate in this service.

Coalition for College – If you are using Coalition for College to apply to a school, please follow their instructions on how to request an electronic transcript from your counselor.

Other Transcript Requests – For all other types of transcript requests email your counselor.  Please read below for additional information about transcript requests.

  • Reasons you may need to request a transcript include (but are not limited to): schools not participating in one of the services listed above; scholarships; DMV; Social Security Administration.

  • Students requesting a digital, unofficial copy of their transcript will receive an email with a link to access it at their WSFCS student email address.
