Legacy Campaign 2024-25

Thanks to the loyalty of past donors and a growing number of new contributors, the Legacy Campaign continues to raise an average of $100,000 each year in direct support of our students and faculty in pursuit of excellence. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference, as we take great pride in the participation of everyone in our school community.

What is the Legacy Campaign?
The Legacy campaign is a school wide fundraiser that supports ALL students.  Historically, money raised is distributed to high areas of need within Academics, Arts and Athletics at Reynolds. Often times, Title I and district money are not available to help fund all of the needs of the school, making it imperative that the Legacy Campaign is there to assist financially.

What does the Legacy Campaign support?
The Legacy Campaign is responsible for funding many important programs and crucial needs this past year including teacher and staff recognition, food for our students participating in extended learning programs, staff development, classroom textbooks and monthly periodicals and Presidential Service Awards. Your contributions also helped with hospitality expenses for visiting artists, speakers, and special events including the straight A banquet, and more! The Legacy Campaign money has been vital to RJR Athletics as well. Legacy funds given to Reynolds Athletic Boosters helped purchase mini goals for women’s soccer, new pitching machine for women’s softball, new uniforms for teams and field equipment for general maintenance.  Our award-winning arts department used funding for piano tuning, assistance with play productions, and support with cross curricular implementation of arts in non-arts classes.

How can I make a contribution?  There are 3 options

Please help us achieve our $110,000 fundraising goal for 2024-2025.  Every dollar raised touches the heart, mind, body and soul of each student at RJ Reynolds High School in some way.

We are looking forward to an amazing school year!
