The above image on the left was the mascot image for Reynolds High School back in the mid and latter part of the 1900s. In 2012, the Reynolds High School administration wanted to do a rebranding of its logo, and thus come up with a new universal logo image. At that time various RJR athletic teams and entities were using a number of different demon heads, and lots of varying colors of yellow and gold…from a bright yellow, all the way to almost to brown gold.
FYI: the trident (that shows up in both of the above images) is used by creatures of lore in the underworld. There are lots of imagery of demons with tridents that cover the entire spectrum of imagination.
In 2012, Reynolds High School began using the logo shown above on the right, because a trident through a capital "R" made the most sense.
