On September 17th, Old Richmond hosted a country display in observance of Hispanic Heritage Month. Speakers were from four Spanish-speaking countries: Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Mexico. The speakers, who are also parents to some of our students, presented important traditions and significant cultures in each of their countries. Students had the opportunity to learn about dishes, celebrations, and music from these countries, among other things. Presenters included Karolina Jimenez and Priscilla Morales from Costa Rica, Sonia Rossy from Puerto Rico, Johana Tusa from Venezuela, and Abigail Rodriguez and Juan P Sanchez from Mexico.
