Dear Parents/Guardians,
WSFCS will be changing our Student Information System (currently PowerSchool) beginning in August for the 2025-26 school year. We will be moving from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus. This is a statewide change. To ensure that student and parent information is updated, checked, and most important accurate, we will send home Student Verification Sheets with all students. Please take a few minutes to verify that all the information is correct on the form. If you have moved or have a change in your phone information, please update the information directly on the sheet. As a reminder, an address change must also have a copy of a lease, water, gas or electric bill, automobile registration, or if documentation of Temporary Assistance at a Forsyth County address. If you prefer to email the updated information, please send it to dsgarcia@wsfcs.k12.nc.us You will also need to review/enter both parents’ address. Legally, if both parents are listed on the student’s birth certificate, both parents have custody, pick up rights, as well as rights to their child’s educational information unless you provide court documents that say otherwise. Finally, you should add or remove people that may pick up your child from school. You do not have to include the additional contact’s address, only a correct and working phone number. Once you are done, please sign the form and have your child return the student verification sheet back to school by February 14, 2025. (If no changes are needed, please sign and return with “all accurate” under your signature. Thank you for your continued support.
