In AP Physics 1, students study and explore topics such as Newtonian mechanics (including rotational motion); work, energy, and power; mechanical waves and sound; and introductory, simple circuits. 

Pre-requesites: Students should have completed NC Math II and be concurrently taking NC Math III or an equivalent course.
