The Atkins High School Academic Team is open to membership from freshmen to seniors. The Team competes against all other high schools in the Winston-Salem / Forsyth County School District. Competitions consist of rounds in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and General Knowledge. The team with the highest number of points at the end of a match is declared the victor. Playoff matches are held at the end of the competition season to determine a system-wide champion.  The team is coached by Nicholas Arzillo (along with other subject area coaches) and meets on Tuesday afternoons.  See the school calendar for exact meeting times and locations.
