The Poetry Club at Atkins is a student-led group (advisor is teacher Scott Plaster) that gives students an outlet for their writing of poetry. Students do not have to be accomplished poets to join the group. Beginners are welcome.  

The group also helps students prepare for poetry competitions such as Poetry Out Loud and Poet Laureate.

The group meets on Wednesdays.
