Students will meet the North Carolina Standard Course of Study requirements for Visual Arts Education and the Standards for 21st Century Skills through an intensive study of 3D design fundamentals to develop engineering, visualization, and technology skills.  This is a studio course with an emphasis on 3 dimensional art making, using a wide range of media and materials to introduce students to fundamental 3D design.  

Students will use creative problem solving to explore and develop skills needed in the fields of engineering, visualization, technology, and visual arts. An essential understanding of elements and principles of 3D design concepts through the creation and critique of their work will be the focus of this course.
