After 3 years of trying to get to Augusta National Golf Club, the hard work paid off and 12-year-old Jason Wong finally made it! He and 79 other junior golfers from around the country competed in the Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship in Augusta, Georgia, the site of The Masters and one of the most famous golf courses in the world. The event was aired live on the Golf Channel. WS/FCS Cable 2 Photojournalist Kevin Wrenn caught up with the 7th grader after he returned to Clemmons Middle School and shares that although he didn’t win, the experience alone could do wonders for his bright future.
