The Winston-Salem State University women’s basketball team recently visited Griffith Elementary School. The ladies made good on a promise to come read to the students who visited them at a basketball game in December that celebrated a successful Thanksgiving Reading Challenge. On Valentine’s Day, the Lady Rams showed up with a smile at 8:30 a.m. despite suffering their biggest loss of the season the night before.
