The Carver High School football team has a new leader, as Cornelius Holmes was introduced as their head coach during a ceremony in the media center. His family and community members were in attendance, including legendary coach Bill Hayes, the man responsible for bringing Holmes to Winston-Salem State University from Detroit, Michigan to play football for him in the 1980’s.
