The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education has approved Robin Payne as the district’s new preschool director.
Payne has been with WS/FCS since 2008, when she began as an EC teacher. She held that role for 13 years. From 2021 to 2023, she was an itinerant/intake teacher. She was a preschool lead from 2023 to 2024. She has been a district coach with WS/FCS since last year.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and licensure in birth-kindergarten from UNC-Greensboro and a Master of Education Degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Payne began her role on January 21.
