Christmas came early for one East Forsyth senior. Bryce Baker is one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects in the Class of 2025, and he became the first recruit to commit to the University of North Carolina under the direction of brand-new head coach Bill Belichick. Both were in Chapel Hill last Saturday and were introduced to a huge crowd at the Dean E. Smith Center during halftime of a basketball game. WS/FCS Cable 2 Photojournalist Kevin Wrenn was in the auditorium at East Forsyth on Wednesday for his official signing, along with Bryce’s family, friends, teammates, and coaches as he recounted that amazing experience in the Dean Dome, his thankfulness for what East Forsyth has meant to him, and the exciting future in front of him as a Tarheel.
