Three district leaders will be presenting on WS/FCS’s Future Ready initiative at the Battelle for Kids EdLeader21 Network Annual Event in Indianapolis this week.
Chief Academic Officer Dr. Paula Wilkins, Chief of Schools Dr. Timisha Barnes-Jones, and Director of Personalized Learning Ashley McCormack will present “Transformation by Design (TBD): Living Equity Out Loud through Deeper Learning.”
The session will explore how WS/FCS is aligning priorities and practices to better meet the diverse needs of learners and the transformative steps being taken to empower educators to promote equity and enhance student agency through deeper learning practices.
Battelle for Kids is a national nonprofit. Its EdLeader21 Network aims to accelerate the work of the Portrait of a Graduate and future-ready, deeper learning. The annual event allows member districts to send teams to network and collaborate with like-minded educators to fuel their community’s collective visions and bring them to life within their school districts.
