The results from the Bell Schedule Survey are in! Based on these results below, the schedule in this graphic was proposed to the Board of Education Tuesday night. The Bell Schedule Committee is now going to consider the next steps, which may include going back to teachers, families, and students to see what YOU think of this plan. We may also ask if you would be interested in extending the school day in order to expand non-instructional time, such as lunch and recess.
Survey Results:
67.7% strongly support or somewhat support standardizing times.
74% of respondents strongly oppose or somewhat oppose expanding the instructional day.
Regarding start times:
38.1% voted for Elementary 1st, Middle School 2nd, and High School 3rd.
21.7% voted for Middle School 1st, Elementary 2nd, and High School 3rd.
19.3% preferred High School 1st, Middles School 2nd, and Elementary 3rd.
