RJ  Reynlds Auditorium 100th

The R.J. Reynolds Auditorium opened in a grand ceremony that lasted from May 8 – 11, 1924. It has remained an iconic architectural feature on Winston-Salem’s landscape and proved to be one of the most popular event venues in the city. To honor the 100th anniversary of the historic venue, WS/FCS leaders, city officials, and historians gathered for a brief press conference and a student performance followed by tours of the auditorium. A reception was be held on the stage in the auditorium after the event.
