April 18, 2024 – Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools has completed another month of the 2023-24 school year, and that means it’s time to recognize a new group of winners as Websites of the Month!
The Communications and External Relations Department is recognizing school webmasters for the work that they do to maintain efficient and informative websites for their schools. Each month, all school websites will be reviewed based on our rubric criteria and two schools will be chosen as winners – one elementary and one secondary. After the schools are chosen, the webmasters and principals will be notified, a Website of the Month badge will be placed on their website and the district website, and the webmaster will receive a special gift bag for their efforts.
WS/FCS school webmasters are a mix of different positions in the buildings, including teachers, office staff, and administrators. All of these professionals are handling their everyday work and maintaining the information on their websites at the same time. Keeping up communication channels between schools and their stakeholders relies on well-maintained and frequently updated webpages, so WS/FCS is grateful to the webmasters who dedicate themselves to delivering the best online experience possible.
The winning schools and webmasters for the month of April are:
Rural Hall Elementary School – Caitlyn Berry, Media Coordinator
Flat Rock Middle School – Courtney Tucker, Instructional Technology Facilitator
Thank you once again to our district’s wonderful webmasters!
