TIAA-CREF Offers State 403(b) Plan
Legislation passed in 2011 directed the State Treasurer to implement a statewide 403(b) plan expressly for teachers and staff of public schools in North Carolina. WSFCS plans to participate in the plan. Efforts are now underway to make it possible for our employees to participate; an announcement will be made when it becomes available.
Prudential - The State of NC's 401(k) and 457 Plan Provider
State employees have the option of contributing to a 401(k) Plan and/or a 457 "Deferred Compensation" Plan. Both are offered through Prudential. Click on the link below for more information.
