The Data Sharing Project

Our Vision

We envision a data-driven community that invests in rigorous Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) supports. Over time, such investments ensure K-12 education-based services are high-quality, demonstrating a clear return on investment, and that resources are used efficiently and effectively to improve outcomes for students. At scale, outputs from the Data Sharing Project will allow school system administrators and community program planners to understand their services' impact on closing the educational equity gap.

Continuous Quality Improvement

The Data Sharing Project’s CQI vision is to support partners in continuously improving practices, outcomes, and/or products over time. Data Sharing Project partners intentionally adjust practices of process, structure, or staffing (implementation changes), and track those changes over time through the CQI Cycle (Plan, Monitor, Evaluate) to identify best practices until their goals are successfully maintained. As partners reach the “Maintain” phase, best practices are shared with other Data Sharing Project partners or service providers in our community, to improve student outcomes and reduce the educational opportunity gap in Forsyth County.

Data Sharing Project is managed collaboratively by United Way of Forsyth County, Forsyth Futures, and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
