Restore Reset Restart: An Alternative To Suspension Program

The Restore, Reset, Restart program is designed to serve middle school and high school students who have received an out-of-school suspension of up to 10 days.

The program will allow students to be in a safe and restorative learning environment with educators during the period of out-of-school suspension.

During this time, academic, social-emotional, and mental health support will be provided to students.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Program is open to all middle and high school students who have received up to 10 days of out-of-school suspension

  • A school administrator must refer students to the program.

  • Students and parents must attend an orientation.

  • Parents are responsible for transporting and picking up their students on time.

  • Students must bring assignments from their teachers and any other importatnt materials or supplies while assigned to the program.

Other Important Information

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided

  • Students will receive in-school suspension attendance credit each day present in the program.

  • Acceptance into the program is on a first-come, first served basis until capacity is reached.

  • All WS/FCS district rules and policies are applicable while attending the program.

  • Students must bring hard or digital copies of their regular schoolwork.

Hours of Operation: 7:25 AM - 2:05 PM

  • Staff includes licensed teachers, a teacher assistant, a behavior specialist and a school social worker

  • Students will receive assistance with completing their regular school work during their stay.

  • Dedicated time for social-emotional learning and goal setting built into the day.

  • Individual and small group counseling will be available.

  • Parents will be connected and referred to community resources, when needed.
