Exciting adventures in learning await! If your child will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2025, it’s time to get ready for Kindergarten in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools! The Countdown to K has begun, and we want to make sure your family is prepared for enrollment day on February 13, 2025. Enrolling your child in Kindergarten is an exciting milestone, and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is here to help make the process easy! Our Choice and Magnet Schools Department can assist you in determining which school your child will attend by using our School Locator Service to identify your residential school and zone.

If your child is a new student enrolling for the first time and is not already in a Preschool program at one of our schools, simply click the Online Enrollment button to begin the enrollment process for the 2025-2026 school year.

However, if your child is currently enrolled in a Preschool class at one of our schools, please reach out to your school’s Data Manager for further instructions. We look forward to welcoming your child to WS/FCS Kindergarten!
