IT11 Automotive Service Fundamentals - Introduction to automotive industry skills and knowledge in service and safety, engine repair, automatic transmissions and transaxles, manual drivetrain, and axles. As part of the NATEF accreditation for the AUTO pathway program, topics are aligned to the ASE Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) requirements. This course is eligible for honors weight.

IT16 Automotive Service I - Introduction to basic automotive skills in suspension and steering, heating and air conditioning and engine performance. As part of the ASE Education Foundation accreditation for the AUTO pathway program, topics are aligned to the ASE Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) requirements. This course is eligible for honors weight.
Foundational Prerequisite: IT11 Automotive Service Fundamentals

T17 Automotive Service II HN – Development of advanced knowledge and skills in vehicle systems repair and replacement of components in the brakes, electrical systems, drivetrain, engine, HVAC and steering and suspension systems. Emphasizes hands-on experience. As part of the ASE Education Foundation accreditation for the AUTO pathway program, topics are aligned to the ASE Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) and ASE Entry level Certification-Brakes requirements.
Prerequisite: IT16 Automotive Service I

IT18 Automotive Service III HN - Builds advanced automotive skills in vehicle servicing, testing, repair, and diagnosis of brakes, electrical systems, drivetrain, engine, HVAC and steering and suspension systems. Emphasizes hands-on experience. As part of the NATEF accreditation for the AUTO pathway program, topics are aligned to the ASE Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) requirements. ASE Entry-Level Certification - Electrical/Electronic Systems AND Auto Maintenance and Light Repair Certification Test (G1) Credentials are offered.
Prerequisite: IT17 Automotive Service II
