The Arts Education Department is committed to serving the students, parents, teachers, and administrators in WS/FCS.  We do this by providing support to teachers in the classroom, making arts accessible for students, coordinating events for students and parents, and creating high quality professional development for teachers.

The WS/FCS Arts Department is committed to foster and encourage curiosity, creative thinking, and artistic growth in the classroom and beyond.  We strive to develop meaningful data-driven professional development and curriculum strategies while promoting inclusive learning, culturally responsive teaching, and social and emotional development through the arts.  We believe creativity is the true catalyst for social and economic change and the most essential skill for success in an increasingly complex, diverse, and changing world.
