The Office of School Relations provides a structured pathway for parents to address and resolve concerns regarding their child’s school experience.

When an issue arises, parents are encouraged to first reach out to the school directly, engaging with staff members such as teachers, counselors, social workers, coaches or assistant principals who are most closely involved with the matter.

If further assistance is needed or if the issue remains unresolved, parents may schedule an appointment with the school principal to discuss the concern in greater detail where they will work together to address and resolve the issue.

While most issues are successfully addressed at the school level, the Office of School Relations offers additional support when needed. Parents can complete and submit a Parent Concern Form, ensuring their voices are heard. A representative from the Office of School Relations will then reach out to provide further assistance and work toward a resolution.

Step 1

When an issue arises, parents are encouraged to first contact the school directly to discuss their concerns with the staff members who are most closely connected to the situation. These might include teachers, counselors, social workers, coaches, or assistant principals who can provide valuable insight and support. Engaging directly with these team members allows parents and school staff to collaborate in understanding and addressing the concern at its source, often leading to quicker and more effective resolutions.

Step 2

If additional support is required or the issue remains unresolved after initial discussions, parents are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the school principal. This meeting provides an opportunity to explore the concern in greater detail, allowing parents and the principal to collaborate on finding a solution. The principal’s involvement often brings a broader perspective and resources to the situation, increasing the likelihood of a positive resolution.

Step 3

While most concerns are effectively resolved at the school level, the Office of School Relations is available to offer additional support when necessary. Parents who feel that their issue requires further attention can complete and submit a Parent Concern Form, ensuring that their concerns are documented and addressed. A representative from the Office of School Relations will follow up to provide personalized assistance and work collaboratively with the family to seek a satisfactory resolution. This additional step reflects the office’s commitment to supporting families and fostering open communication within the school community.
