Middle School Course Registration Information
Rising 6th – 8th graders
Course Registration 2025-2026 will open January 21 and run through March 21, 2025.
Please note:
Individual schools develop their timelines for registration; expect communication from your School’s Counseling Departments related to their process and timeline.
Rising 6th – 8th Graders will work with School Counselors to select courses for the 2025-2026 school year. Teacher recommendations are being placed in Power School to help students and parents in their course selections. The digital 2025-2026 Middle School Course Registration Handbook details course offerings, our district’s Balanced Encore program, some extracurricular activities available, etc. Middle Schools across the district offer multiple Career Technical Education (CTE), Arts, and World Language courses, so students have the opportunity to explore courses based on their interests.
Rising 6th graders will work with Elementary School Counselors to choose courses for the next school year between January 21 and February 14, 2025.
Rising 7th and 8th graders will meet with Middle School Counselors to choose courses for the next school year between January 21 and March 3, 2025.
Rising 9th graders will meet with Middle School Counselors to choose courses for the next school year between January 21 and February 21, 2025.
There are resources available at our middle schools for students who are EC and ML (Multilingual Learner). Course selections align with specialized plans for students who would qualify for these services.
Additionally, there will be an in-person district-wide meeting on December 12, 2024, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for all rising 6th grade parents and students in the Education Building. Registration is required to attend in person. There will be a video posted online with the information from the event for those not able to attend in person the following day.
