Employees of WS/FCS are entitled to the following benefits:

Health Insurance: through BCBS of North America. Plan options are available at a minimal charge to permanent, full-time employees. Family coverage is available for purchase. Permanent part-time employees may purchase health benefits for themselves and/or their family members.
Dental Insurance: through Ameritas. It is available at no charge to permanent, full-time employees with family coverage available for purchase. Permanent part-time employees may purchase dental benefits for themselves and/or their family members.
Life Insurance: Basic term life coverage is given to all full-time employees at the employers' cost. Family coverage is available for purchase.
Retirement: All permanent full-time employees are members of the retirement plan. As such 6% of your base salary is deducted pretax from each paycheck to be invested. It is a mandatory deduction and eligible employees cannot opt out. The IRS does not allow loans or early withdrawals from the TSERS pension plan. An employee must have five years of actual work time to become vested in the system and eligible for retirement benefits.
Leave: WS/FCS employees earn;
- one sick leave day per month of employment,
- earn, based on years of service, at least one annual leave day per month of employment
- Other leave options are notified at the time of employment.
