Core Behavior Practices
What are Core Behavior Practices?
Core behavior practices are universal management approaches that cater to all students and establish a shared language and goal for school staff, families, and the community. These practices are intended to be consistently and efficiently implemented across various school settings, including classrooms, as well as non-classroom areas like hallways and cafeterias. They involve teaching students essential behaviors and social skills for academic success, offering regular positive reinforcement for expected conduct, consistently addressing social miscues, and creating inclusive learning environments that accommodate all students.
