WS/FCS is seeking your feedback about next year’s school calendar. Two calendars are under consideration.

Option A and B have the same school start and end days. The options have slight variations, but the main difference is spring break. Option A has spring break ending in April. Option B has spring break in March.

How the Calendars are Developed

These calendar options were devised by a committee of teachers, teaching assistants, principals, Parent Advisory Council members, Classified Advisory representatives, an NCAE representative and other district leaders.

The calendars include:

  • 185 instructional days or 1,025 instructional hours

  • A maximum of 195 teacher workdays

  • 11 holidays

  • A minimum 10 annual leave days

Note: Forsyth Early and Middle College Calendars are based on the Forsyth Tech Academic Calendar and are not yet available.
