Walkertown Middle-High School Media Center Calendar

View our scheduling calendar here and/or make an online reservation here.

Our school library media center serves both Walkertown Middle School and Walkertown High School.  We use a unified calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts and to serve our patrons most effectively.  All areas of media center may be reserved by both middle and high school staff members. We are happy to help you meet your instructional goals. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.

Reservations may be made in person with Mrs. Epps or Mrs. Webster, by email, phone or through the online reservations form.

Reservations are typically processed within 24 hours on school days in the order received.

Requests for reserve carts of print materials should be made in advance (at least 2-3 days).  Please request reserve carts by calling, emailing, or speaking to Mrs. Epps or Mrs. Webster in person.

Important Guidelines:

Please plan to use a seating chart, lab verification form, and to restore the areas you use to a tidy condition for the next groups.  Computers and monitors should be turned off at the end of the day. All groups need to use a quiet, productive voice in order to facilitate multiple classes and students in the open space of our library. If using a mobile lab, all keyboards and screens should be checked after each student use. Technical issues should be reported promptly. Please refrain from allowing food, drinks, candy or gum near the computer areas.

Teachers and staff members may request to reserve any the following areas (calendar abbreviations are in parentheses):

  • LC-Learning Commons (Seats 60, MS Instructional Space, containing middle school fiction)

  • RC-Research Commons (Seats 60, HS Instructional Space, containing high school YA fiction)

  • MakeLab 229 (Middle & High School MakerLab Space-Hands-on & Collaborative Learning Activities

  • MC Conference Room 221 (Professional Resources, Small Group Activities & Meetings)

  • Note:  The non-fiction resources are a shared collection located between LC and RC.
