A database is a comprehensive collection of related data organized for ease of access. The following collection of databases provides reliable sources of information for academic research in a format that allows the learner to use the information effectively and ethically. They are subscription services which provide both school and home access, delivered via the internet.

NCWiseOwl - Provided by the State Department of Public Instruction to all North Carolina schools, this collection of databases includes a periodicals database, Britannica encyclopedia, Popular Science, literary databases, an ebook reference center, and much more.
