  • promotes and advances instruction in reading and information literacy skills

  • encourages collaboration with teachers to create strategies that will further enhance student learning

The Glenn library program is governed by district, state and national standards presented in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School Board policies, the North Carolina State Department of Education’s IMPACT: Guidelines for North Carolina Media and Technology Programs, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Students and the American Library Association’s Intellectual Freedom Statements and Policies.
