FI21 Interior Design Fundamentals: Emphasis is placed on selecting goods and services and creating functional, pleasing living environments using space planning and the elements and principles of design. Topics of study include the design process, backgrounds and furnishings, and functional room design. Art and mathematics are reinforced. This course is eligible for honors weight.  

FI23 Interior Design Technology HN: This advanced level course incorporates building information modeling using REVIT software. Credential aligned to this course is the REVIT Certified User credential. We recommend student’s take this course before FI22.  Prerequisite: FI21 Interior Design Fundamentals  

FI22 Interior Design Studio: Focus on entry-level and technical opportunities in residential and non-residential interior design fields. Explore design fundamentals and theory by designing interior plans to meet living space needs of specific individuals or families. Topics include application of design theory to interior plans and production, selection of materials, and examination of business procedures. Art and mathematics are reinforced. This course is eligible for honors weight.  Prerequisite: FI21 Interior Design Fundamentals
