Hello there!

My name is Steven Windsor, and I am one of Frank Morgan Elementary's new school counselors! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, and have a Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am a member of both Psi Chi, the international honor society for Psychology majors, and of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for professional excellence in counseling.

 I believe that all students, no matter where they come from in life, have the right to an equitable education, and that they have the right to be respected, loved, and encouraged to meet their potential, not just as students, but as individuals as well. Today, more than ever before, students face a number of challenges. As your professional school counselor, it is my duty and honor to serve in this community. My general approach to counseling is strength-based, and I encourage my students to reframe situations, to be creative, and to go forth with compassion.
