Middle College of Forsyth's small and intimate setting allows Carl Glenn, our Counseling Director, the ability to stay connected with our students and staff like no other high school. Mr. Glenn is a vital link to academic, career and personal social development for all students. Working in collaboration with other educational programs in the high school, Mr. Glenn ensures equity and access to programs and services so that every student is challenged and supported to achieve his/her highest potential.
Mr. Glenn provides individual counseling related to a variety of emotional, social, and academic issues. He frequently collaborates with other professionals such as the school social worker, school nurse, and school psychologist in order to assess students' needs in a comprehensive manner and for the purpose of effective and efficient response to student concerns. Mr. Glenn wants to help students develop their talents and interests via the academic experience while gaining an understanding of themselves. In addition to offering individual counseling, Mr. Glenn advises students regarding course selection, promotion standards, and graduation requirements while assisting with post-high school planning and preparation.
