Crosby Scholars are a partnership with WSFCS, the Winston-Salem Foundation, the United Way and the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust.  The Crosby Scholars Program is a nonprofit college access organization where students begin to prepare academically, financially and personally for successful college admission beginning as early as middle school.

The high school program is for students in grades 9 - 11.  However, students must apply by the beginning of their 10th grade year to be admitted into the program.

The program accepts students from the beginning of school until October 1st each school year. Applications may be filed online at the Crosby Scholars website or paper copies may be turned into the Crosby Scholar Liaison, Nakia Williams, in Student Services.

To find out more information about Crosby Scholars, please visit the Crosby Scholars website or make an appointment with Nakia Williams by calling (336)703-6792.

9th and 10th grade online Academies for Crosby Scholars are open. We will also be hosting a CFNC overview for students and for parents, and monthly preparing for college sessions with Wingate University.

We are still willing to join class sessions with 9/10th grade students during the school day to encourage them to join Crosby Scholars.
