Dear Parents,

As principal of Clemmons Elementary, I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to a new school year.  For many of you, it is a welcome back and a continuation of all of the exciting things that Clemmons Elementary has to offer.  For others, it is a brand new journey filled with excitement and wonder. We are eagerly working toward our goals for the year and continuing to reach high levels of student achievement.  Our entire school team looks forward to working with you, the parent, for you are your child’s first and most important teacher.  Together we can provide opportunities for your child to learn, grow and to be all that he/she can be.  We sincerely appreciate and need your interest and support throughout the year. To all of you, welcome!

Parents, as in a puzzle, all the pieces must fit together in order for the puzzle to be completed. We need your help to complete your piece of the puzzle in order for each of our students to achieve academic success. Therefore, we are encouraging you to read to your child, with your child, and listen to your child read every night. Stay in contact with your child’s teacher, come by and/or call the school and join our PTA. Thank you for your continued support and partnership with us. This partnership helps to strengthen an atmosphere of learning where “All Students Succeed at Clemmons”.

I invite you to browse our website for important information posted by your child’s teacher and our school’s PTA. During the school year, you will be receiving messages through an automated phone system.  Therefore, it will be vital that you inform the school of any changes in your home address or phone number.
