Crosby Scholars offers a wide variety of scholarship opportunities to seniors who have been involved in the Crosby Scholars program. Scholarships may be academic based, need based, school based, community service based, essay based, and for first generation college students.
Several of these scholarship opportunities have deadlines in March.
All applications can be accessed through your Crosby Scholars Student Portal.
The Winston-Salem Foundation one-stop scholarship application goes live on January 1. Please encourage local students in your networks to visit WS Foundation to learn more. For the last school year, we awarded $1.67 million in scholarships to 573 local students.
An important reminder: to be considered for most scholarships, applicants must first fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students who are unable to complete the FAFSA (such as non-citizens without a green card or permanent status) are still eligible to apply once the scholarship portal opens. *March 15, 2025 is the deadline for most foundation merit-based scholarships, while July 1, 2025 is the deadline for financial need-based scholarships.
