Dr. Rick Courtright from the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP) will speak to parents of gifted children on May 4th.

This event is open to parents of gifted students in public schools, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Because seating is limited, registration to reserve a seat will begin April 4th. Parents can become members of Forsyth County PAGE by paying at the door the $10 fee for family membership. Donations to Forsyth County PAGE are tax deductible.

Dr. Courtright will focus his remarks on Mindset, a term that distinguishes between contrasting perspectives on intelligence and has significant ramifications on student performance. Findings on Mindset offer guidance about how parents can interact with their gifted children to optimize learning and academic performance.
