For those of you interested in becoming more involved with the PTA this year, we still have available committees waiting for you! Even small commitments can make a big impact on the students of Ward! Committee chairs will organize their group and attend monthly PTA meetings to keep the Board up to date.

STANDING COMMITTEES
Legislative Attends monthly WSFC School Board meetings at the Administrative Office Center and stays abreast of National and NC PTA stands on various legislative issues.

Reflections -
Involved with PTA on a National Level.

Hospitality
Plans events (such as lunch or desserts) or gifts for teachers every other month & during Teacher Appreciation - Budget available.

Communications
Maintains school entrance sign, helps with newsletter, & assists PTA committees with making copies for Tuesday folders.

Campus Beautification
Maintains the schools front entrance, nature areas, and flower beds and coordinates class clean-up schedules. Workdays can be planned for school hours, evenings or weekends
SIT Committee
School Improvement Team Need at least 2 parents to attend the school SIT meetings (normally once a month after school) with the Ward Staff to discuss ways to better the school.
